Writing about politics can be tricky.
Depending on your point of view, you are likely to alienate roughly half of your projected readers. And who is right?
Trust me, the question of whether or how much to cut the budget is never going to be agreed upon (Sorry to tell you that).
So, how can we use literature to understand and interpret the current election?
Through literature, we can get at the deeper truths of life. Non- fiction can tell you what happened but fiction can tell the truth.
